It’s been a long time but Emilia has awakened that feeling of escape and obsessive reading in me again. This is my kind of fantasy romance. The slow-burn enemies to lovers chemistry that felt so natural; the fast-paced, captivating and unpredictable storytelling, the world-building, the character development ~ everything is so good. This story worked so well for me and I am literally desperate to read the next book.

Narrator is brilliant too.
