Starbucks workers are fighting for a living wage. Last year, Starbucks’ CEO made more than $30 million while many baristas relied on SNAP and Medicaid to make ends meet. Starbucks Workers United is working to change that and has already won elections at nearly 700 locations. I spoke with Jasmine Leli, a Starbucks barista and one of the leaders in this new labor movement, about the victories they’ve had so far and the work ahead.
