This week’s encounters episode dives into haunted phone calls, cursed voicemails, creepy glitches, and spirits who are just one bad connection away. Static-filled voices, phantom landlines, Ouija board fallout, and shadow figures all collide in a collection of listener stories guaranteed to make you think twice before answering an unknown number. Stories include: A listener skips a creepy voicemail segment from the podcast, then immediately receives a garbled call from a bizarre number filled with symbols. A family receives late night calls from a Rhode Island payphone shortly after their payphone loving grandfather passes away. A disconnected landline begins ringing inside an abandoned Kodak factory where workers already felt an overwhelming paranormal presence. A woman is horrified when her deceased abusive ex-boyfriend’s full name and decades-old phone number suddenly appear on her caller ID.
