Human systems rarely evolve in conditions of perfect order. They evolve at the edge — where stability meets uncertainty, and where new patterns begin to emerge.

Organizing at the Edge explores how people, ideas, firms, and institutions organize in complex environments. Through conversations with managers, entrepreneurs, thinkers, and researchers, the series examines how innovation arises within ecosystems of co-creation, where diverse actors unlock creativity and contribute to shared progress.

Rather than focusing on organizations as fixed structures, the dialogue centers on organizing as a dynamic process — the continuous shaping of relationships, capabilities, and collective intelligence.

At the edge of order and chaos, new forms of coordination become possible. Understanding how these forms emerge may be one of the most important challenges of our time.

  • Episode 1 - Latro. Can a CEO fire himself?
    Jul 10 2026

This is the first episode of Organizing at the Edge with Haluk Can Hur (Founder of Latro), a chemical engineer born and raised in Turkey, who began his career in the chemicals industry before becoming a serial entrepreneur over the last 15 years.

Haluk currently holds shares in multiple industries and companies, with Latro, a chemicals distribution business with approximately 55–60 employees serving sectors including textiles, cosmetics, and agriculture, as the original and central enterprise.

In this wide-ranging conversation, Emanuele Quintarelli (Chaordian's CEO and Founder) and Haluk explored real-world stories and lived experiences about how Latro underwent a radical organizational transformation over the past four years into a collectively managed, decentralized autonomous organization that dared to reimagine how companies can be structured and run.
