Have tried several times to get into the story but had to give up after only three chapters. I have enjoyed other Carl Hiassen books but as has been said before the narrator does the author no service. He reads it rather than narrates it. His voice is flat and I imagine a schoolboy demonstrating his annunciation in an oral exam. This is not his genre. This is one of those occasions when you’d do better to read the book for yourself. Sorry

A great story, rather spoilt by the reader’s voice, which I found akin to fingernails dragged across a blackboard.

good read especially if you been to the any of those islands ,have eaten some conch fritters,drunk some local rum and caught a fish.

Enjoyed the story but not the narration so much. The narrator should have steered clear of trying to do accents, it was bothersome. But other than that it was an easy listen.
