Very moving story of injustices of mankind about one of the bravest women who was removed of her dignity abused and and subjected to the horrors of fascism and communism for thirteen years.

Initially the story shocked me that after suffering the concentration camp she was transported to Siberia for a ludicrous sentence but as the story unfolds and she immerses herself in nursing and human kindness grows slowly in her life as do her relationships with theb prisoners the doctor and the man she falls in love with I recommend this book it was amazing
