Julia Cloud had a gentle, caring spirit, devoting her life to her Lord Jesus and caring for others, including her invalid mother. This must be a later story from Grace Livingstone Hill. It has lost some of the charm of her earlier works. It seemed more moralistic and preachy. A pity, for she is a delightful writer for testing times.
