This is an excellent Agatha Christie novel, with Hercule Poirot as the investigator of a possible murder. The story flows so well that it illustrates why the author was so successful. It is a story set in the late 1920's or early 1930’s ( I think) with all of the sensibilities of that era. There were many red herrings, so I did not predict the solution, but the explanation made sense and was therefore completely satisfying. The narration, by High Fraser, was good and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the novel.

A house full of suspects and plenty of means and motives. Agatha Christie has done it again. Poirot, after receiving a delayed letter, continues to investigate a considered natural death of an old lady who believes someone was trying to kill her. Well worth a credit.

Beautifully narrated, a greatly constructed mystery, everyone is suspicious, Poirot is on point and Hastings is delightfully bewildered. it the star is Bob, giving him a voice is genius and he was a real bright point in the story.

listened to The Pale Horse recently, didn't really enjoy it, However, this was great! the characters were brilliant and voices were well done.
