The story starts with you immediately thrown into the deep end with the war between the elves and goblins.

The narrator made the story for me. It’s nice to hear a clear northern accent adding character to the voices of the characters in the story. I look forward to hearing more from from Suzanne in the future.

My only critisizim for this work is its length... I found it shorter than I would have liked, interesting, fast paced, lightly action packed and a good use of fictional mythology.

I must say I favoured both the narration and enthusiastic characterisation of the work by the reader... I feel that she added stars to my review simply through the vigour and exciting way that the characters where brought to life... I must confess on occasion I thought there was a second reader for certain characters as it was so well rehearsed by the reader....

I would recommend this book gets a listen simply because the author with the aid of an excellent reader manage to keep your interest peeked throughout the story...

Overall I enjoyed this book.

Inventive, Imaginative, short yet enjoyable.
