A good follow up to the other books in the Ardent Springs series . A well told story handling two very delicate subjects ,home violence and PTSD . Interesting and enjoyable story which doesn't trivialise the problems

This was the perfect story for Carrie, Terrie managed to give her her story that did justice to all the pain and suffering she'd had in the past. I was always a bit skeptic all about the relationship with Lorelei and Spencer but this brings it full circle. Loved it! Just a slight annoyance at the deliberate miscommunication issues but I must say they are least prominent in this book compared to the rest of the series

Noah and Carrie’s romance was great listening. Together they worked through their individual challenges. I felt Carrie at one point put herself at total risk and personally got upset by it but both reached their HEA. Again great work by Karen Peakes narrating this story.
