Why don't 'these' characters RUN when you tell them ? Our star crossed lovers Eva and Robin continue to have us at the edge of our seats. 'The Devil's Plaything' is dark, violent and erotic just what I would expect from a Persephone Black novel/series.
The story runs along familiar lines and Audiobook 2 finishes with a cliff-hanger, fortunately I have just has Audiobook 3 drop in my Audible library (a must have pre order) so I won't have long to wait before I get back into this fast paced romance(because it is a romance)! The narration is excellent PB know a good narrator when she hears one (or two) ! This series isn't for the faint hearted but if you like the idea of strong female characters that live in a 'Dark World' then this series is for you!
