I have no doubt that this would be a great book to read, but it is best enjoyed as an audiobook. The real enjoyment comes from the many asides, sighs, occasional spats but overall deep affection between the father and son.Any additional comments?
I very rarely 'review' books on any sites, but this one is kept me amused for several hours and I received several strange looks as I sat at the traffic lights laughing so hard I was almost crying.The best book I have listened to this year.

jack and his dad read this book brilliantly and it sounds more like they are having a chat and not reading. just great to listen to and had me laughing out loud.Have you listened to any of Jack Whitehall and Michael Whitehall ’s other performances? How does this one compare?

Let me just say this had me in tears, so funny his dad is an absolute legend as well. At first I was like oh I can't stand his posh accent!! But god I got into it straight away!! I had my work mates asking me what's so funny every 10 mins!!
