this is by far one of the best books I have listened to. we all know what's said in the news etc but no one ever says what it's like to be a survivor. Always look forward don't let your past rob you of a future

This is a story of how a young girls life was ruined not only by the perpetrator but by the many professionals that are supposed to protect us. It’s just a shame it took so much failure to make the changes that we see today. Although some professionals still need a lot more training for them to be able to recognise such situations. Sammy Woodhouse is not a survivor; she is a person who has changed many lives and is fighting to change the world we live in!

Although put off by the subject matter I ordered this because of the reviews and agree that this is something all parents should listen to.
Very well written and what an inspirational young lady. It’s sobering to think how easy it was - and is - for children to be groomed and stripped of their childhood..
