An enjoyable easy listen, again a bit boys own and a bit far fetched but that's what action adventure is all about. Another brilliant performance by John Telfer whose characterisations are varied and believable.

A must read for any ex-ranker, second in the series as good or better than the first. Just down loaded third and forth (final) book in series, can't wait!

I do like Mike Lennon-Wood’s writing but in this particular novel I found he played to the stereotypes too much. The Royal Navy Officers were dashing, heroic, good looking (I imagine) while the Ratings are common (or is this the narrator’s take on the characters), rough and not very clever. Full disclosure, I served in the RN! Still a good listen :-)
