The problem with secrets is that they’re too easy to keep collecting.

Luna Allen has done some things she would rather no one ever know about. She also knows that, if she could go back in time, she wouldn’t change a single thing.

With three sisters she loves, a job she (mostly) adores, and a family built up of friends she’s made over the years, Luna figures everything has worked out the way it was supposed to.

But when one of those secrets involves the man who signs her paycheck, she can’t find it in her to regret it. Despite the fact that he’s not the friendliest man in the world. Or the most patient.

Sometimes there are things you’re better off keeping to yourself.

Number one overall Amazon Kindle best seller.

After reading some reviews I didn’t think I was going to enjoy this book, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. I loved the narration and the story. Rip is one of those book boyfriends who will stay with me, and as with most of Mariana Zapata’s books, I will definitely read it (listen to it!) again!

So surprised!

Every time he said "baby girl" all my internal organs squeezed and I felt my soul leave my body. Amazing 👌.

Yummy

Struggled slightly in the first half of the book, but as you get knowing more; you feel more linked with the characters. Some parts felt just a bit repetitive where she would think back to the past etc but that's just my opinion and would reccomend this book!

Was an interesting slow paced story

As often with this author's books, the story and connection burnt slowly. But it was oh so worth
it. Themes of family and found family were strong. The emotion towards the final quarter caused eye leakage. Great narration.

slow burn emotion
