Loved it, a book that doesn't shy away from all aspects of motherhood. It was brilliant, it made me laugh and cry hearing all about the experiences Louise has been through.

I absolutely loved this. From the disastrous dates as a single Mum, opening up about the 2 very different births of her daughters, talking so lovingly about her Late mother and the abuse suffered as a young girl. Louise has shared so much, I want to applaud her for doing so in the hopes it’ll encourage other sufferers to seek help & support. Full of all the emotions imaginable. Absolutely brilliant!

I follow Louise Pentland on social media but this wasn't really on my radar until it came up as a suggestion on another book on Amazon. I saw it was in the Audible Plus library so decided to have a listen.

I did think it was going to be a sort of "manual" for parenting, and Louise's experiences, but that was only part of it. It covered a few topics including her upbringing, pregnancies, birth stories, and being a business owner (and well known influencer!).

Being a follower of Louise, there were some parts of the book I already knew. But some of it, especially her upbringing, was new to me and heartbreaking to hear. Parts of it I identified with, such as her birth experiences.

For the most part I did enjoy it, but there was a bit too much casual/text talk like "LOL", and I just found the constant repetition of "Mummy" (rather than interchanging it with "Mum") a bit cringe!

it touches on some sensitive topics but it gives you a good mindset to carry on no matter what life throws at you.

I loved every second of this audio book, real, raw, funny, emotional, helpful. Hearing the lovely Louise tell her story i felt like I was sitting in her living room having a conversation face to face. I cried and laughed several times. I highly reccomend to Mums and Mums to be. xxx
