the accent of the narrator is very different, to Wendy wolfson. I'm sorry to say the accents annoy me

The story was good with a twist that kept me guessing. However, the narration was very distracting. At times there was very little difference between the ‘character voices’ and the narrator. I also found the narrator’s voice a little grating.

Any change of actor takes a bit of getting used to. However I was soon engrossed with the story and by the end had completely forgotten the previous narrator. Great all round! Looking forward to the next book!

why would you change the narrator. The previous narrator whom done the first 11 books was very good and I got used to knowing who each person was but they now don't sound right

I've really been enjoying the Redmond and Haze series and was heavily invested in the characters - until now! Alex Lee's attempt at Jason's American accent is absolutely awful! Wendy Wolfson, who previously narrated the series, was excellent. I can't carry on, I'll switch to reading the series. It's physically painful to listen to. Irina Shapiro, this narrator doesn't do Jason justice and, in doing so, ruins the entire audiobook experience - it's cringe worthy. I'm sorry, I don't go out of my way to leave bad reviews, but I'm sure there are others who agree with me.
