I love this book and would have given it 5 star if not for the writing style. There is so much explaining of the characters though process that even the simplest interactions take way longer than comfortable. One character says “Hello” and then we get an explanation of what he thinks about, what he sees, history lesson, magic lore lesson, what he had for lunch the other day and more. Than other character responds “Hey, how are you” and same thing again.

Amazing story and characters. Infuriating writing style.
