I'd never listened to Tessa & Stevie's podcast, but gave the audiobook a go & I'm glad I did! They had some really enjoyable and genuinely useful advice. Not every chapter was relevent to me, but I listened to most as I just enjoyed listening to the content and their discussions. They both seem like very lovely people. I wish I'd had the opportunity to read this a few years ago when I left home for uni. It's sort of like a cuddle and a gentle helping hand in book form, and worked really well as an audiobook. I'll probably check out the podcast in future.

Hooked from the off! Outstanding in every way. Joyful AND I learned stuff. Just the perfect combo of humourous and insightful. Like a Best Of the podcast. Dip in and out OR just have the two of them in the room with you for 2 full days talking you through all the stuff you wish you'd known before and be reminded of times when you dealt with something horrendously badly, but in a totally non-judgemental way.

Just yes. To all of it. From how to budget, be dumped or be more productive, the advice is ace. Includes masterfully written, unforgettable nuggets such as the poem on tax, the story of the “winter of discontent” and the “seagulls of false promise”. Found myself asking why all audio books aren’t delivered across soundscapes in little mini fiction themed chapters? Especially love hearing Tessa and Stevie crack up throughout - excellent absence of editing. Very “real”. Very funny.

I was wondering how two people where going to read an audio book like this. But they did an absolutely amazing job. This is genuinely the best audio book I have ever listened to. It is so creative and entertaining.
