This was my first Loretta Chase book and what can I say? what an author!? This book has it all AND with (I would say )the best female narrator there is. If you are looking for a romance with wit, charm, saucy moments and a bit of a twist then I highly recommend it. As I have enjoyed it so much Im off to purchase the next in the series now. I hope you agree?

I read a lot of historical romances. I don’t know if it was the author or the narrator but this book had me laughing and in floods of tears. That very rarely happens. I must get more of this combination!

Our hero has a child out of wedlock and both her and the hero's families accept the child who has suddenly appeared. This would NEVER have happened in reality especially as the child is not the hero's.
