This series of books are all the same mundane and even a little boring. It’s the same day again and again and again and yet she will just drop a bomb at the end of every book that will give you just enough hope and intrigue to want to read the next book. While I don’t love this series I’m so interested in what will happen next.

I don’t know how she does it

I think only the first book was fully thought out. Every book afterwards seems to have been thinly conceived and been forced to cash in on short-term hype. Books II, III and IV literally cover the same half baked, sophomoric ideas over and over again both within each book and across the whole series. Disappointing given that the series had such a compelling start.
