Read before but lovely to have the audiobook for driving. My fave Jilly cooper book.
They have to be taken with a large pinch of salt and as a product of their time because they are somewhat racist, sexist, sizeist and homophobic by our modern standards. But still a romping good yarn with gorgeous memorable characters and a great storyline.

Listening to Jilly again, it's very non p.c however if you can put up with that it's a fun story with loads of the usual characters. I would have liked a bit more Rupert. Jilly fans will know what I mean! I got used to the narration style, which at first I found too monotone.
