[The Blood Hunters are coming. Hurry. Select your Class. Show us the power of your Bloodline, Lenny E. Cook.]

Before that notification popped up, Lenny was just an office worker and part-time guitarist, a firstborn from an eccentric family of foodies. At 32, the earthly mortal had no powers and few real worries in the Rank Above All Multiverse System.

Then he wakes up in another world. With a rare Bloodline, an urgent Class Selection, and hunters already closing in.

About the Series: Pure Mage Build is a power fantasy and progression isekai in a multiverse system after full integration. All kinds of magic are on the table: evocation (fireball, fireball, fireball!), enchanting, necromancy, space, time, and more.

About the System: The Rank Above All Multiverse System, or RAAMS for short, blends classic mid-level crunch with magic, quests, and cultivation elements that are dynamic and easy to understand. The paths to power include classes, skills, spells, treasures, evolutions, dungeons, and, yes, fun power merges.

About the Action: Definitely strong-to-overpowered with chaotic challenges and some Slice of Life moments. Think Overlord and Avatar: The Last Airbender doing fusion dances with Solo Leveling and Dragon Ball Z. So, we might lose a mountain or two. Maybe more. Then enjoy some ramen right after.

What’s the Verdict: Rank Above All with a Pure Mage Build! Buy, listen, and rock on.

I have been in a bit of a reading break this week, struggling to really get into any books when I usually read several a week as well as Manwha. This was the palate cleanser I needed, it's stat heavy, easy reading with 0 stakes incredibly OP character with cool accelerated progression. However, the world is shallow, the characterisation is shallow, the magic system is nonsensical as Lenny would start fights by chaining 7/8 high Prana cost spells and then somehow use all of his other spells which should leave him with an empty resource pool.... It would make more sense just giving him infinite mana/Prana and the limiting factor being his creativity and ability to develop his skills with the help of his bloodline with escalating threats. The writing in general is just fine, all Hunters MCs feel like generic cut outs that are just black but other than some language changes just feel the same as one another between series'. I love seeing a Black MC but it would be nice for this to be explored a little more otherwise it just feels empty and token. Overall, it is what you go in expecting and it nails that numbers go Brrr power explodes feel but little else! Performance is amazing!
