Another fantastic start to a series I can't now wait to listen to more of!! Once again totally in love with the central characters and the rest of the family and great to catch up with old friends from the arrowwood brothers series.

cool characters that I'd like to read more about but they all made some bad decisions which led to some unnecessary drama.

I'll keep reading the books in the series but we'll see if it goes the same way with that fake drama before I commit to completing it.

This was a heartfelt second-chance romance that delivers exactly what Corinne Michaels is known for: emotional depth, tender moments, and characters who feel both flawed and beautifully real.

The pacing was just right - steady and immersive without dragging. Grayson and Jessica had genuine chemistry, and their shared history added a bittersweet richness to every scene.

One of the standout elements for me was how sensitively Michaels portrayed Jessica’s experience with a brain injury. This wasn’t treated as a plot gimmick, but rather as a lived experience, and it showed a lot of care on the author's part.

The side characters added a strong sense of community to Willow Creek Valley. From Grayson’s daughter to the Parkerson siblings.

Admittedly, this might be a personal preference, but I found myself wanting just a bit more drama or emotional stakes.

Still, 'Return to Us' is a solid start to the Willow Creek Valley series, looking forward to reading Stella and Jack's book.

Told in dual POV, the narration by Andi and Sebastian was spot-on—they brought the characters to life with depth and emotion.
