I love letter Joyce and only listen to his narration of these books. This was a bit confusing to follow as the speed felt strange and the voices where not the ones I am used to.

The voices are not Peter’s usual accents

I have enjoyed Peter Joyce’s narration throughout all of the Midkemia books and his characterisation has been consistent.. Why, oh why, has he suddenly changed the voices of some of characters we have all got to know and love? It’s bizarre!

Fantastic story great narration by Peter Joyce. so I find myself asking who's unbelievably stupid idea wàs it to replace him???? That inspired american accent has not the presence of Peter Joyce and immediately annoys. you have ruined the following books to this one. suggest the idea owner and the new narrator...

This was the first audibook of Feist I have listened too. As with the paperback versions I was spellbound. Fantastic narration for a fantastic storyline. Looking foward to more of Feist's work on Audible.

I'm biased add I loved feist right from his first book the magician, this is the start of another great story but it's a short review as I have to dash of and get the next book right now.
