This was a beautiful but heart wrenching second chance story. Eli and Adrian's tale begins with an accident that turns both their lives upside down but gives them the opportunity to put in the hard work to save their marriage. I enjoyed both the writing and the narration of this book.

I read the story and it tore me apart all the way through but listening to the audio made it that much more intense.

This story really made me examine my life and look at priorities differently. The emotion that Nick J. Russo’s voice took the story to just make me feel the characters and situations stronger. Adrian and Eli lived true to life until the accident when time stopped and their relationship became a real priority. I can’t imagine what it took the author to write such heartmending lives.

This story was already one of my all time favorites and now I will revisit it again and again but now it will be the audio version.

Eli and Adrian’s story is so very real and could happen to anyone. I cried so much for both characters but the way the story develops and the way it is written paired with Nick’s narration is just amazing. This story is a reminder not to lose sight of what is important in your life. If I could I would give this book way more than a 5 star rating - Eli and Adrian will live rent free in my mind for a really long time❤️
