EVERY TRAITOR WAS ONCE TRUSTED....

'Impressive...an exhilarating blend of psychological probing and terrific action scenes' SUNDAY TIMES
'Spies, lies, traitors, and tradecraft - David Goodman delivers the goods in Solitary Agents! Pick it up today, but be warned - clear your calendar, as once you start turning pages you will not stop until the final shot' JACK CARR, #1 New York Times bestselling author
'Perfect for fans of Herron or Le Carré' THE SCOTSMAN

Jamie Tulloch and Sam Li never intended to be spies. Jamie, a former exec at a tech company, found himself caught up in a mission and discovered a taste for the secret world while Sam, a burnt-out corporate lawyer, was unexpectedly talent spotted by MI5. When both are plunged into covert training, they find themselves pitted against each other for their final evaluation - Exercise Red Poacher.

Every year, MI6 trainees must evade capture, infiltrate sensitive sites and report back with the right intel, while their peers at MI5 try to stop them. But things take a sinister turn when they witness the apparent murder of one of their fellow recruits. Is it all part of the exercise? Or is someone trying to weaponise this game of spies into something far more deadly?

'Fresh, fierce, and more tense than serving James Bond a stirred martini, David Goodman's Solitary Agents have infiltrated the old boys spy network and are tearing it down from the inside' CALLUM McSORLEY

PRAISE FOR MULTI-AWARD WINNER DAVID GOODMAN
Innocents have been caught up in espionage ever since The Thirty-Nine Steps. David Goodman's engrossing thriller offers an ingenious variation on the trope. Goodman combines traditional elements - the nods to Buchan, Fleming and le Carré - with the topicality of 2020s technology and the threat from Russia
A twisty storyline and convincing action scenes make this a very promising debut

This story was as good as the first book in the series, although different. Found it difficult to take a break from listening to excellent audible version.

Captivating exciting story

All rather fantastical but a rollicking good read. Probably helps if you note who’s M15 and who’s M16 at the start (which I didn’t).
Interesting glimpse into the paranoia and double guessing of being a field agent. Sounds exhausting.

Race Across the World x Hunted with spies

An excellent sequel with a stand alone story but the return of some characters from the first book. I didn’t understand all the computer stuff but that didn’t detract from my enjoyment. I look forward to the next book.
