Listener received this title free

This was a very tough listen. The narration was extremely bad and there was a crackling sound in the background at times and the narrator was too close to the microphone at times. It was very distracting. I also have a problem with authors using female narrators for books with two male MCs. In addition, the narrator was not very good. She fumbled over some words and had major trouble with male voices (which was a lot of the story). I would also have loved fewer chapters to create a more fluid story.
The story in itself is actually good, but it is drowned by all the negatives, unfortunately.
