As an ageless goddess I struggle with reading glasses in the sun so having this book on audible was a good move. I didn’t drift off, Maggie’s narration kept me engaged and the story unfolded as I expected with all the twists and turns, obstacles she overcame and the effect this had on everyone’s lives. Some might think surely not a holiday read but yes I wanted to understand the story and I applaud Maggie for never giving up and staying true to her gut instinct. She was able to raise her head above the parapet and follow through to the end. The impact Maggie’s desire to speak out on those young girls lives is immeasurable. I gave it 5 stars.
