Return to the world of Rivers of London in this first short-story collection from number one Sunday Times best-selling author Ben Aaronovitch. Tales from the Folly is a carefully curated collection that gathers together previously published stories and brand new tales in the same place for the first time.

Each tale features a new introduction from the author, filled with insight and anecdote offering the listener a deeper exploration into this absorbing fictional world. This is a must-listen for any Rivers of London fan.

Join Peter, Nightingale, Abigail, Agent Reynolds and Tobias Winter for a series of perfectly portioned tales. Discover what's haunting a lonely motorway service station, who still wanders the shelves of a popular London bookshop and what exactly happened to the River Lugg.

With an introduction from internationally best-selling author of the Sookie Stackhouse series, Charlaine Harris.

It has always rankled with me that readers of Waterstones' editions got an extra short story with their purchase. It seems unfair to supporters of independent book stores and us audiobook listeners.
When we finally got one of our own I was slightly mollified and now, finally, we get them all, mostly read by the incomparable Kobna Holdbrook-Smith.
I love the way this series jumps about with novels, novellas and graphic novels and now we have a volume of perfectly crafted short stories.
Marvelous.
It's lovely to meet up again with minor characters I loved and the "moments" are gems.
Only tiny niggle, and it's purely personal, Alex Kingston doing a German accent?

Finally!

you simply can't go wrong with a Ben Aaronovitch/Kobna Holdbrook Smith combo. I've listened to the full Peter Grant series and keep going back to them x

awesome little adventures

but it really it is good! the narrators are excellent. I'm already addicted to Kobna, and I think Shvorne exactly hits the spot for Abigail. Alex Kingston and Sam Peter Jackson nail the Sommer unt Winter characters. love getting little insights into favourite RoL folk :)

I would like this anyway
