Well written and interesting. The plot and s quite predicable but no less enjoyable. Very good narration. I didn't feel bored at any point and always wanted to know more. Highly recommended.

Fantastic thrilling read

I found it hard to acceptt that the weak-willed character of 20 years before, who tolerated the verbal and mental abuse of her partner, making endless excuses for his behaviour, could become the driven investigator into the cause of her daughter's accident. To suggest that the change took place because of a mother's love for her comatose child seems somewhat facile. Although there are some moments of tension in the novel, the author generates little excitement overall. Even the climax of the story in the final scene in the hospital is unlikely to the point of being laughable.
A disappointing read!

My first audible book, I am not convinced it is the way to go for me as I got quite bored just listening but the story was good, long winded in places but I finished it and thought is that the end? Wanted to know more about/from Charlotte.
