I've read all of the Jack Carr books and this is up there with the best of them - his attention to detail is outstanding and shows himself through the character - this book is brutal but beautiful all in one - can't wait for the next one.

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect going into this book after finishing the James Reece series, but it quickly drew me in. As the story unfolded, I found myself looking for reasons to keep listening. It’s an exceptionally well-written novel, with strong, memorable characters throughout. Chris Walker and Paladin, in particular, stood out, and I’d love to see more of them in future books.

A must read.
