An easy listening story. I feel there should be some sort of order on the books though having listened to a previous book of Holly’s.

I’m part way through the story & the narration is so grating its making it difficult to continue & putting me off the story!

I usually love Holly Martins books! I feel bad cititicising but honestly the way the story is read especially when trying to differentiate between characters is cringing.

Perhaps I just prefer a stronger sounding voice with substance & I’m being fussy..... sorry!

I should have tried a sample before buying, so it’s my own fault.

I loved this book, it was well written, the characters came to life and the humour was great. I laughed and cried. It is the first book I have heard by this author and am now going to look for more of her work.

The storyline is ok, it's a slushy essay listening story, however I found phrases of it so repetitive repeating parts of the storyline on many occasions, very novice.
Also was not overly taken with the whining voice of the narrator.
