In appearance Hercule Poirot hardly resembled an ancient Greek hero. Yet – reasoned the detective – like Hercules he had been responsible for ridding society of some of its most unpleasant monsters.

So, in the period leading up to his retirement, Poirot made up his mind to accept just twelve more cases: his self-imposed ‘Labours’. Each would go down in the annals of crime as a heroic feat of deduction.

Hi. These are fun stories, the odd one is a bit weaker then the rest but overall 9 Poirot stories which are great fun.

They are only around 40 minutes in length so it's easy to sit down and listen to one story at a time.

Well worth a listen, and nicely read.

Nice change of format, many short stories rather than one big one. Nice mix, very entertaining.

These stories are brilliant and beautifully read by Hugh Fraser. I would highly recommend

Short stories aren't really very satisfying and sadly, these don't enhance the genre. I'll keep to the full version of Agatha's works in future.

Not the best of Agatha's

the stories are so fun and kind of light-hearted, the framing device is delightful, and Poirot is having a great time being the world's greatest detective (and in love)
