I've been reading Handy for 40 years, from his first book to this. He has always has an uncanny ability to tap into emerging zeitgeist not be offering "solutions" but by framing great questions. Once we escape the cages of our own preconceptions, the answers are accessible to us. A great addition to the library, and like all his work, repays rereading

His eloquent essays examine the potential for quantum leaps forward in performance for individuals and organisations to build a better future without getting stuck in the current system. Prescient and necessary. 21st century society desperately needs a second curve to solve the environmental and social crisis that threatens to stunt the future of humanity.
