Amazing audio, couldn't put it down. I experienced every high and every low of the writer. Every womn and man should read this. We all take the BUS staff for granted, however, we do not know about the struggles of these courageous men and woman. A big up to all you guys.

absolutely loved the brutal honesty in this book, as mothers we only see the very tip of the surface when we go into the maternity/labour wards, but these women and some men are absolute super hero's in my opinion who do not get the recognition and support they truly deserve. It certainly opened my eyes to the behind the scenes pressures the super heros face every day.

I work in maternity myself and felt like I related to every story she told. The narrator is fantastic with her upbeat read and the ability to use different voices and tones, kept me entertained and hooked all the way through.
Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to get into the midwifery field as this is our reality, it’s not all positives and her writing was potentially quite negative towards the end of the book with main focus about the staff crisis and no support but sadly it’s been going for years and won’t change anytime soon.. Really inspiring woman though.
