Good narration and the main plot with the added Michelle, Rachel and Judith by-lines

The final sentence.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and actually did so on a very long coach trip from Newquay, Cornwall to my home in north Wales. As it reached its climax I didn't mind that we were stuck in traffic.

I've read all 7 books in this series and feel quite attached to the characters despite their sometimes impossible perfection (Cat especially). It was a pleasant change to have an audio version and I wasn't disappointed in the reader either. I do urge anyone interested in this book to read the series in order as the characters do build and it helps to understand their past.

Great narrator. He has narrated the Jussi Adler Olsen books which coincidentally deal with tough criminal topics.

What did you like best about this story?

The tension that built up and hoping the bad guys didn't get off.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Resolution near the end.

Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes. It made me cross in places but can't give too much away.

I'll try another book by this author with main detective.
