As always, the author brings the characters to life so “readers” such as myself can form an opinion about the characters… they become real and (we) go on the journey with them. If I had to find something I disliked, it would be that the storyline is just a bit unbelievable (and I do mean just a little bit!)… a flying saucer buried in the woods for 50 million years!!??? And no one has noticed it, not ever??!!
Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the Audible version as much as I did when I read the “hard copy”.

The Narration is fantastic and basically, it’s a great story!

I have seen many negative reviews of this book and I wasn't expecting a classic, SK himself names it as his least favourite work. I read most of the book when it first came out, but I did struggle at the time. But now, I have at last completed this title in a week and I've got to say, it was a delight.
It has everything, alien invasion, horror, sci fi, love, friendship, and the usual dark humour. I wouldn't say it has a specific genre, it's in that unique space that is a Stephen King novel. Also has couple of surprise Easter Eggs.
Highly recommended...

As the first Stephen King book I ever read some 20+ years ago, The Tommyknockers will always hold a special place in my heart. The audiobook did not disappoint. Fantastic storytelling by King accompanied by masterful narration by Edward Herrmann. Fantastic.
