This book honestly could have been 5⭐️. The narrators were chef kiss 💋
Loveable characters. Well written albeit too wordy. In the end though this book didnt really feel like my usual dark romance because majority of the book wasn't about romance, just revenge & betrayal. Thats the let down for me.
I love that she went to therapy. I love that she took her revenge and Bones took it like a champ.
After her revenge though i saw no need for continued punishment, it dragged the plot because at that point I just wanted the two of them back together. Ely doesn't take accountability for not telling Bones the truth.
@60% I was in DNF territory & almost checked out coz I wanted the romance to kick in but MMC was still grovelling & the real monster didn't even get a deserving punishment.
72% she finally goes to him but takes till 76% with her still talking about her past and how she will never forget what he did 😢, like girl give it a rest! we get it u were wronged but either forgive him or let him go, i will have him its been over 5 years & 2months. Finally at 84% they kiss. Then 86% one smexy time if u can call it that.
This book wins the longest grovel ever award i began to doubt Bones' alphaness .
.. I love trying new authors & i do want to see what else this author comes up with as long as its true romance

This started well (although I found the prologue to be unnecessary and giving away spoilers without reason). I fell off after she found a new life. Both MCs completely changed their personalities and the new best friend.. absolutely ridiculous..and then it was still more than 10 hours left so I gave up 🥵

Oh my days! This was incredible! This is one of those stories that you read and it stays with you, so when I saw the audible version I legit downloaded the app and subscribed JUST FOR THIS AUDIO BOOK! The voice overs were perfection and I’m now super sad I’ve finished it. I cannot recommend this highly enough and I’m not gonna impatiently wait for the next one!
