Toby Grant spends his days working for a digital marketing agency and his nights stressing about how unfair life is for his generation. With a 30th birthday only months away and his finances approaching meltdown, it’s fair to say Toby isn’t a happy millennial. His parents’ generation had it so much easier...or did they?

After a series of rather unfortunate events, Toby is offered an opportunity to discover exactly what life was like for his parents’ generation, courtesy of a journey back in time to 1969.

However, life in pre-decimal Britain isn’t quite as simple as Toby envisaged. And neither, as it transpires, is time travel.

Enjoyed the view of the late sixties. Loved the characters. I liked the fact there was no gizmo’s to help Tony. A straightforward story of relationships over 60 years!!

Well-trodden territory for Keith Pearson, but I still enjoyed this time travel yarn. Excellent reading, too. I may just have gone beyond peak-Pearson however. “Time” I tried a different author’s approach..,

Really enjoyed this book, it had some twist and turns I wasn’t expecting. Not exactly a happy ending but a fulfilling one

I liked the obvious research that went into it. I am from that era and his observation was good. A couple of minor details grated ie the American pronunciation of lever and I don't remember anyone in the UK calling anyone Honey back then. However, a very good read. I recommend it.

Absolutely loved it from start to finish. Couldn't put it down near the end. Made me laugh and cry.
