Not a bad story and reasonably entertaining. The narrator took a little bit of getting used to in the beginning, but overall his performance was ok. I would have been bitterly disappointed if I had surrendered a credit for this book.

I think the ending did not tie the whole story up it felt unfinished but it was a good story.

I found the narrator very different from my usual listens, it took a while for his voice to settle in with me. It was an ok story, it could’ve been better and the ending felt a bit lacking. Like a lot of stories, the end felt rushed and I was waiting for another chapter rather than the end of the book. Edited to add that I didn’t notice until afterwards that this was book 1 in a trilogy - that would perhaps make the ending more understandable as it would lead you to want to hear more.
