An extraordinary thriller set at the frozen edge of the world, perfect for fans of Kate Mosse, Michael Crichton, and Dan Brown.

In the Arctic Ocean, the US Coast Guard icebreaker Terra Nova batters its way through the pack ice. There shouldn't be anyone near them for hundreds of miles. But then a lone skier, half-dead with cold, emerges out of the snow. His name is Tom Anderson, and he is the only survivor of a disaster at Zodiac Station, a scientific research base deep in the Arctic Circle. He tells an incredible story of scientists and spies, of lust and greed, of jealousy, mayhem, and murder. But his tale simply doesn't add up. Whose blood is smeared across his clothes? Why is there a bullet hole through the jacket he's wearing? And why is that jacket labelled with someone else's name? It's clear that more was going on at Zodiac Station than Anderson is telling. And someone else may have survived the disaster, as well...someone who has killed before, and who is willing to kill again.

Wow Zodiac Station is an epic adventure that's so much more than that! It is extremely well written engaging you from the start with a unique style that feeds the paranoia with each step!
The claustrophobia of living in the arctic is a living thing of its own, cleverly portrayed like a movie in your head! Characters are very intriguing and very well portrayed! Hard to put down and keeps you thinking about it long after you do.... the narration is very good and propels the narrative perfectly. You will not regret getting this one! Awesome!!

5 star all the way!

The narrator was good I enjoyed his voice and the way he controlled the tempo of the tale. But the story was too long winded for my liking and when we finally did get to the finale it improved 100% it's the reason why it got a 3 not a 2

Any additional comments?

A great thriller - and a real page turner if audio books can be page turners ! Some really nice writing too.The big reveal is a bit of a let down, but the pleasure in this book is in the journey, and not arriving at the destination. Really enjoyed it and I will be looking out for other title by this author.

A far better book than most both this type

Where does Zodiac Station rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It has to be up there near the top

What did you like best about this story?

A riveting story which for much of the book was like a re-write of Alistair Maclean's "Ice Station Zebra" which I loved - but then came the twist a twist.

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The part when you finally realise that there are "2" Tom Andersons!

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Will the "real" Tom Anderson please step forward.

Any additional comments?

The narration was great! I must admit that I have not come across Piers Wehener before, but I will certainly be looking out for other books narrated by him!!

The book started very well and seemed to have endless possibilities with a intricate plot and endless twists. Following this promising start, the book ended very poorly with a limp ending as if the author had run out of ideas and wanted to finish it without putting in any effort. It was a real disappointment.
