If I could come up with one word to describe Lauren, it would be… “refreshing.” She is a much needed breath of fresh air. Her soul has a mission that is so clear and she will not rest until she has achieved it all. Lauren Lee is a lifelong supporter and caretaker of musicians. She has done this through artist management, event production, content creation, and entrepreneurship, always pursuing equitable ways musicians and industry leaders can work together.
She is currently launching Kit House, a social club for musicians, and is best known for her project Two Rooms (one room for music, one room for friendship). She is proud to be a fourth-generation Chinese American, as well as a visible mixed person on the internet. We sit down with Lauren to discuss identity, change and a boldness that is sure to inspire and leave you wanting more. It is a true privilege and honor to have this powerhouse of a person in my community. Find some inspiration and run with it, people!
