Have you been looking for a podcast where 3 friends from college talk about all aspects of music and don't care about ruffling feathers? Then look no further! …And Out Come The Opinions is a music and talk podcast where a trio of music obsessed dudes discuss the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to the audio medium. Join Al, John, and Brad as they profess on such topics as: What do our kids listen to? Is College Radio a dying medium? How does Gen X find new music? What the hell is Brad drinking every show? So if you're interested in learning about new tunes, exploring some out of the ordinary bands, or want to hear 50-somethings gripe about why we don't want to stand through 5 openers at a concert, give …And Out Come The Opinions a listen. Come for the conversation, stay for the opinions.2026 Music Social Sciences

  • Episode 11: Forgive me Father For I Have Sonically Sinned
    Jun 30 2026

After surviving the last episode (it wasn't that bad, was it?), our characters of culpability show their vulnerable sides by discussing their musical regrets. They lay out all the cards on the table and put their reputations on the line and come out....possibly unscathed? Whether it's fandoms, purchases, or trends, it's all out and exposed. Also, Brad produces a list which causes anger then Al trumps him with another list and these lists combined produce CAPTAIN OPINIONS. (Spoiler Alert: The statements are not very flattering.) The WAYLT segment is jam packed with non-regrettable selections and the show ends with a benediction (not really). Come for the Usher-less confessions, stay for the opinions.

Editor's Note: John makes a reference to Ace of Base. He meant 3rd Bass. Yes, he is an idiot. This will be mentioned in a future episode.

  • Episode 10: The Cultural Exchange Vol. 1
    Jun 26 2026

After 10 episodes of AOCTO, the boys decide to go completely off format and choose violence (potentially). Part psychological experiment, part study in sabotage, Al, Brad, and John listen to each others suggested music from the past 9 shows. Will this be the end of this pod? Can you assault someone over a webcam? Will there be uncontrolled sobbing? (Not on camera because we ain't no punks). Also, Brad attempts to dunk on the concept of the greatest hits concept with mixed results. Come for the false sense of diplomacy, stay for the opinions.

  • Episode 9: Opinions Are Being Expressed At My House
    Jun 23 2026

In this episode of AOCTO, we discuss 1/5 of Maslow's basic needs (and no, it's not bourbon). It's the place where the musicians perform: The Venue. Al, Brad and John speak about the importance of this sonic shelter and compile a list of some of their favorites, hate on their quirks, and rave about the weirdest places they're seen bands (here's a hint: it's a place where veterans can consume cheap beer.) Also, the boys attempt to tie a relationship between metal and country, present a very noisy segment of What Are You Listening To, and all of the frivolity you would expect. Come for the merch table, stay for the opinions.
