• Try These 5 Simple Mood Elevators To Feel Greater Peace
    Jun 25 2026
Some days just suck and that’s okay. Here’s what you can do about it with simple these mood elevators. There will be times when a bad mood hangs around. Maybe something triggered you. It could be a cloudy day when you counted on sunshine. Or you might feel crummy or no reason at all. You just feel off. [Join me at the Intuition Cafe – the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays every month from 10 -11am ET for just $11/session.] Feeling Dysregulated A lot of people describe this as feeling dysregulated, which includes feeling anxious, irritable, overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or just plain blah. The truth is there’s likely nothing truly wrong. You’ve had too much stress, too much news, too many demands. You haven’t had enough downtime or sleep. You’re overdue for some self-care. The good news? You don’t need therapy, a silent meditation retreat, or an appointment of any kind to feel more at peace. These five simple mood elevators are free, fast, and surprisingly powerful. I’m sharing them today because honestly, I’ve been in a mood myself for a few days and putting this together for you has already lifted my spirits. 1. Start Moving One of the fastest ways to lift your mood is to move your body, even for just a couple of minutes. Go outside, especially if it’s sunny. Fresh air and natural light work quickly to shift your emotional state. But even a rainy day has its benefits. Rain actually reduces an overabundance of positive ions that are absorbed from electronics and screens. Walking in the rain, taking a shower, or spending time near moving water like a stream or the ocean helps clear that energetic overload. Other easy options: Put on your favorite music and dance around the room for three minutesTake a short walk around the blockDo a few minutes of stretchingTry just three yoga poses Get physical, even briefly, and watch how quickly things start to shift 2. Stop Arguing with Reality When you’re in a bad mood, your mind can drift to unhappy thoughts. Then you might think you shouldn’t feel this way. Or other people have it worse and even things aren’t really that bad. But pushing your feelings away doesn’t make them go away. It suppresses them, and that’s not good for your emotional health long-term. The faster path to feeling more at peace is actually to own what you’re feeling. Face it. Accept it. Don’t make yourself wrong for it. When you acknowledge your feelings, even the uncomfortable ones, that’s often the quickest way to move through them and come out the other side. 3. Find One Tiny Thing Going Your Way Okay, this might feel difficult, but the truth is EVERYTHING is not bad. Even on your worst days, something is working in your favor. You don’t need to drag out you gratitude journal or make a list of 20 things. Just noticing one positive thing will be a solid mood elevator. Did you eat a good lunch? Find something on sale? Pay your bills and have a little left over? Hit a string of green lights? (One of my personal favorites!) These tiny moments count. I’ll share one that happened to me just yesterday. A client I coached a few years ago texted to say he got engaged. He was a sweet guy who struggled with social anxiety around dating, and we worked together to find some simple solutions. He sent me their happy engagement photo and said it wouldn’t have happened without me. I left him the most choked-up voicemail. That moment brought me completely to tears in the best heart-filled way. Finding even one thing that’s going your way shifts your brain out of fight or flight mode and into a place of greater peace and joy. Try it right now. 4. Call a Funny Friend As I was sitting down to write this episode, my phone rang. It was my friend Tammy. She has this gift for finding the humor in everything. We ended up reminiscing about our 20s, when we’d get together every Thursday night to listen to new music and dance in my living room. Laughing with someone who knows you well is one of the most a powerful mood elevators. If you have a friend with a good sense of humor, call her. Tell her your moody little story. Find the humor in it together. Nostalgia is genuinely uplifting. That’s why people love a good stroll down memory lane. Childhood stories, old shared jokes, funny memories are all good stuff, and can absolutely raise your spirits. Who could you call right now? 5. Create a Moment of Delight This is a fun one. What’s one small, easy thing that’s guaranteed to bring a little joy back into your day? Here’s mine – mascara. I stopped wearing mascara during COVID. Who was I going to see? But this year I started putting it on again every single day, just for me. When I catch myself in the mirror now, I smile. Those long dark lashes make me feel pretty and more youthful. That’s a genuine moment of delight, and it costs almost nothing. Here’s another one. I recently discovered a brand of sugar-free chocolate made with allulose that tastes just like the real ...

  • Is There A Risk Relying On AI Vs. Your Own Intuition?
    Jun 18 2026
You ask AI what’s the best brand of supplement, how to handle a tricky conversation, or whether to take the job. But what about your own inner wisdom? When was the last time you paused and asked yourself first? I’m not picking on AI or telling you not to use it. However, it’s important to tune into your inner wisdom, so it doesn’t slip into the background from lack of use. It’s like use it or lose it baby. Why We’re Outsourcing More Decisions Than Ever People have always looked outside themselves for guidance to experts, religious leaders, therapists, coaches, and even psychics, and astrologers. That’s nothing new. But AI has changed the speed of that outsourcing dramatically. Author, entrepreneur, and podcast host Tim Ferriss recently shared a transparent peak into his business. His book sales dropped over 40% in 2025 and a jaw-dropping 50% again so far in 2026. His explanation? People are skipping how-to books and long- form YouTube videos in favor of instant AI answers. This isn’t just a publishing problem. It’s a signal. We are increasingly moving away from anything that takes time. For decades we’ve had drive-through coffee, apps for finding love, and now there’s telehealth calls. But what are we missing when we skip just sitting with something and taking our time with it? Are we handing over big life decisions to something that compiles other people’s experiences rather than relying on your own? The Hidden Cost of Decision Fatigue Research suggests the average adult makes 35,000 decisions every single day. Just ordering a coffee involves cup size, hot or cold, caffeine, sweetener, milk type, and flavorings. No wonder we’re exhausted! Decision fatigue is real, and that overload pushes many of us to skip the natural process of seeking inner guidance, especially for big issues. When you’re depleted, it makes sense to look for something to ease the burden. AI is right there, fast and seemingly limitless. But that speed has a cost in terms of trusting yourself and your own inner knowing. Information and Inner Wisdom Are Not the Same This is the heart of the matter. Information is fast, external, and tells you what other people know. AI gather this information and can deliver it in seconds. On the other hand, inner wisdom is personal, earned through your lived experience, and requires time, awareness, and reflection to emerge. That is something AI will NEVER provide. For thousands of years, wisdom required effort. People took on apprenticeships, learned religious or spiritual practices, spent time in self-reflection, experienced trial and error and these paths often took years. But today, information arrives instantly. The question is are you trading the slow accumulation of wisdom for the quick hit of information? And what might you have lost as a result? 4 Things AI Cannot Do For You AI is a genuinely powerful tool for brainstorming, research, and saving time. But there are things it simply cannot tell you: Which opportunity feels right for your lifeWhether a relationship is for your highest goodWhat your soul is nudging you towardWhat you truly want in your heart of hearts The danger isn’t that AI will replace your intuition. The danger is that you’ll skip it even after gathering information to make your final decision. This will eventually erode trust in yourself over time. A Personal Story About Self-Trust At the end of my corporate career, I took a layoff package instead of taking a position in another division of General Foods. That place was draining me of my life force. In fact, I had a recurring dream that ended one night with coming home from a business trip to find my apartment emptied out. The only thing remaining was a burned-out neon clock that had stopped working. This same clock was in my real life office. Finally, I understood I was burned out, time was up, and so I walked away. Leaving with a seven-month package, I had no plan except talking to vendors, peers, and marketing executives. I had my astrology chart done and read What Color Is Your Parachute? which was a popular self-help book on finding work you love. None of it told me what would come next. Looking back, what I find interesting is that I didn’t discover my next chapter because I found the answer. My future unfolded because I gave it room to emerge. Within six months, former colleagues started calling asking for freelance help. That became a twelve-year career freelancing for big marketing agencies with brands like AT&T, Chase Bank, and Jack Daniels. The work was on my own terms, often just four days a week. My father joked with his friends that I was semi-retired because of that schedule. That’s the difference between information and wisdom. Information shows us possibilities. Wisdom helps you recognize which possibility is right for you. And the more you connect with your intuition, the more you trust yourself because of it. Midlife Wisdom Is Powerful By midlife, you have decades of ...

  • Conversation With The Garden Beings
    Jun 11 2026
It’s gardening season again! Have you ever considered talking to plants and wondered if they’d respond? That’s what you’ll discover in this post – surprising messages and insights from the plants in my garden. I’m not one of those people who can’t wait to get my hands in the dirt. I don’t love digging holes or weeding. I do enjoy planting small seedlings and flowers because that goes quickly and you see fast results. Hey, that’s who I am. I love fast results! But there’s another reason I look forward to gardening season and one that has nothing to do with the physical labor. I talk to my plants. And, they talk back. Dahlias Started It All The first time a plant talked to me was when I bought my first home which was a townhouse. I filled the tiny front porch with colorful flowers and a pot on every step leading to the front door. As I removed the first dahlia from its starter pot, I heard a voice… “Plant me in a good-sized pot because I’m going to grow really BIG!” The voice was high-pitched, gleeful, and absolutely adorable. I was totally shocked. A little freaked out but pleasantly surprised. That was my first experience of clairaudience and talking to plants and that’s how I started having little chats with them. How I Connect with Garden Spirits I do get a thrill from seeing plants grow, filling garden boxes, and producing vegetables for our meals. But besides the growth, I look forward to talking with the plants and nature spirits. It’s better to connect while it’s warm and plants are green and growing, rather than dormant in the winter cold. I do my best to start every gardening session by sitting quietly and connecting with the spirits of the garden. I call forth the plant divas, the overlighting land angel, and the local elementals. With my eyes closed and palms up on my lap, I open to these energies. I often see energy swirls behind my eyelids and a big smile plants itself on my face. Then I move into gratitude and ask to communicate, cooperate, collaborate, and co-create with the garden spirits and plants. I call this the “four C’s”, words that came to me naturally in that space of connecting. I’ll admit I sometimes forget and start pulling weeds before I’ve connected. That’s when I stop, sit down, and begin the ritual properly. It does amaze me how easily I can slip back and forth between a human doing and a human being. What the Squash & Cucumbers Told Me On one particular Sunday, I completed the four C’s and got ready to plant squash, cucumbers, and tomatoes. I felt strongly that the squash and cucumber plants wanted to communicate, so before pulling them from their starter pots, I sat with them and asked if they had something to tell me. They did. The squash told me not to plant the seedlings too close together because they need space. The cucumbers explained they need less water than the squash. Both were happy about growing up the wire fence, which keeps their leaves off the dirt and minimizes disease. But what really surprised me was the squash plant’s sheer enthusiasm. The voice I heard was exuberant and joyful. That expression of excitement was absolutely thrilling to receive. After planting, I moved on to weeding. Grass tends to sneak into the beds and the roots hold on tight. As I struggled, a thought came to me. Apologize for removing them and ask them to let go easily. So I did. They came out of the dirt with ease, eliminating the struggle. Who would have thought to ask? String Beans Whispers Years ago, my string bean plants were growing like wildfire — vibrantly green, climbing their strings like Jack’s beanstalk. But there were no flowers, which meant no beans. I decided to ask the plants. They didn’t have much to say at first, but then I heard two whispered words: “wood ashes.” I had no idea what that meant, so I Googled it. Turns out, over-fertilized plants get too much nitrogen, which makes them grow wildly but prevents flowers and fruit. As luck would have it, we’d just had a fire, so I swept up the ashes and sprinkled them around the plants. A few weeks later, the vines were loaded with flowers and we ended up with a bumper crop. The plants know what they need. Basil Plants Taught Me Not to Doubt One summer my two basil plants were being attacked by insects I couldn’t see. They looked a bit dreary. I bought organic spray and an extra plant just in case. Then in July, all three took off like crazy, turning into thriving bushes over three feet tall. In August, as I harvested basil to make pesto, the plants spoke: “You were worried about us but we turned out well. You doubted our ability. Never doubt us again.” The following summer the exact same thing happened. But this time I knew better and once again, they flourished. How Arugula Encouraged Self Trust The last story has to do with arugula plants. This plant does better in cooler weather. But they will grow all summer. I wanted to cut them back, so they ...

  • What June’s Planetary Parade Reveals About Inner Authority
    Jun 4 2026
The June 2026 planetary parade happens on June 17th, when five planets align in the night sky in a formation visible to the naked eye. No equipment needed, just a clear horizon and a few minutes after sunset. It’s a genuinely rare sight. But if you’re a woman in midlife, this particular planetary parade carries a resonance beyond astronomy. Each of the five planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn) symbolize a quality your inner authority needs. That includes clear thinking, self-worth, courage, expanded vision, and the wisdom only lived experience can build. That last one is the one most midlife women consistently underestimate in themselves. This post is about the parade and what it reflects back to you. Why the June Planetary Parade Stands Out While planetary alignments happen throughout the year, there’s something undeniably captivating about seeing them all at once. It’s as if the heavens rearrange themselves to highlight something everyone needs to see. If you’re someone who finds meaning in the natural world, this kind of visual alignment is hard to ignore. Many people view planetary gatherings as a moment when different energies seem to work in concert rather than pulling in separate directions. Whether you take that literally or simply as a useful metaphor, the invitation is the same. Imagine what it would be like if your different parts could come together into harmony too? Think about how many different women live inside you at once: the wise woman, the dreamer, the intuitive, the practical one, the adventurer, the responsible one, and the one who just wants to rest. For eons, women have been taught to prioritize everyone else’s needs and ignore their own inner wisdom. This planetary gathering can serve as a symbolic invitation to bring all those scattered pieces back to center. This celestial moment also speaks to something many women experience as they move through midlife and beyond. There’s a growing desire to trust yourself more deeply. To rely on that inner wisdom and feel genuinely self-sufficient and empowered. You’ve spent decades gathering this wisdom. You’ve navigated relationships, raised families, built careers, and faced disappointments. Maybe you reinvented yourself more than once and learned to keep going when life didn’t follow the plan you imagined. Yet, many women still find themselves looking outside for answers, wondering if someone else knows more than they do. That’s why this planetary parade offers such a striking and important perspective. What Each Planet Brings Each of the five planets carries a quality your inner authority needs: Mercury represents clear thinking and honest self-reflectionVenus reminds you of your worth and invites you to treat yourself with the same kindness you freely offer everyone elseMars brings the courage to act on what you already know instead of endlessly second-guessing yourselfJupiter expands your vision and encourages you to believe more is possible than you’ve imaginedSaturn contributes the wisdom that comes from lived experience — the kind no book, class, or expert can hand you That’s a complete picture. And if you’re honest, those are qualities most women over 50 have been quietly developing for years, often without giving themselves any credit. The Heart of the Lion Now add Regulus to the mix. The brightest star in the constellation Leo and referred to as the Heart of the Lion, Regulus has long been associated with leadership, courage, and sovereignty. Those words might sound grand, but they point to something practical. Your inner authority is simply the ability to listen to your own knowing and trust it. Honor what feels true for you, even without outside approval. Many women were taught to be considerate, accommodating, and responsible and those qualities have real value. But there comes a point when inner wisdom asks for more. In midlife, it becomes not just possible but necessary to become the authority in your own life. A lion doesn’t ask others where to go next. It trusts its instincts and moves with confidence. And here’s the thing about confidence. You may assume it comes first and action follows. In reality, it works the other way around. When you listen to an inner nudge, follow your curiosity, or make a decision you’ve been avoiding, you discover you’re capable of navigating whatever comes next. That’s how self-trust is actually built. Women often arrive at this stage believing they need one more answer before they can move forward. Maybe one more book, workshop, or sign. Meanwhile, your inner wisdom has been patiently waiting to be heard. See the Bigger Picture Later in June, the New Moon darkens the sky enough for the Milky Way to emerge. Think of this as the final note in the month’s celestial progression. First, align with yourself. Next, trust your wisdom. And finally, see the bigger picture. You don’t need to have everything figured out. You only need to trust ...

  • Midlife Women Start Seeing the Synchronicities Everywhere
    May 28 2026
Something shifts in midlife that’s hard to explain until it happens to you. You start noticing signs and catch on to the meaning of synchronicities faster and more often. For example, it might be song lyrics that answer the question on your mind. A person you randomly think about suddenly texts. The book that suddenly falls off the shelf has a message in the title. You might see repeating symbols, angel numbers, or get tiny nudges. Sometimes you encounter strange timing that feels too precise to dismiss. That’s not a bunch of coincidences. Spiritual Antenna What I’ve discovered is that midlife seems to heighten your awareness of synchronicities and intuitive guidance. It’s as if your spiritual antenna gets stronger with age, experience, and a deeper trust in yourself. A few years ago, during a difficult period when I was struggling emotionally, I began working with a body-centered healing practice called the Power of Gesture. The idea was simple. Create a physical movement that embodied the emotional state you wanted to experience more fully. The gesture I created became what I called the “Sunflower Pose“. Standing with my feet slightly apart, I slowly raised my hands from prayer position at my heart up toward the sky, opening my arms wide as if embracing the sun. As I did this, I spoke these words:. “I surrender to my higher self and open to the divine flow of creativity, abundance, joy.” It sounds simple, but something profound shifted. Soon afterward, sunflowers started appearing everywhere. In grocery stores, online, a card picked from an oracle cards. Even on random signs and advertisements. Curious, I looked up the spiritual symbolism of sunflowers and was pleasantly surprised. Sunflowers represent joy, resilience, optimism, abundance, and spiritual truth. That’s exactly what I’d been seeking. The synchronicities felt affirming, like the Universe itself was responding or my higher self was sending a message. That experience changed how I understand synchronicities, midlife and the magic that is part of it. Midlife and Intuition At this stage of life, women often become far more intuitive because you now know yourself so much better. You care less about what others think, spend less time people pleasing, and become more aligned and true to yourself. Your discernment sharpens and your inner authority grows stronger. And because of that, you begin noticing the subtle messages more frequently, that were probably there all along. That’s what Midlife Magic means to me, that guidance appears magically as needed and you can rely on your intuition more than ever. This is a phase when you can become deeply attuned to your own inner knowing. I’ve experienced this countless times since entering my fifties. Once, during a energy clearing session, I was guided to seek help from the ancient Roman goddess Abundantia, whom I had never heard of before. Over the next few weeks, references to her appeared everywhere. A friend happened to own ancient coins with her image. I discovered I already had a picture of her tucked away in my home with no memory of acquiring it. Then I randomly pulled her card from a goddess oracle deck. Ok that was not a series of simple coincidences. The Meaning of Synchronicities I see them as confirmation. Little clues that remind you that you are supported, guided, and moving in the right direction. They can give you a heads up that something important is happening and it’s time to pay attention. One thing that’s good to know is that magical occurrences aren’t always big or dramatic, but they still matter. One afternoon, after a deep conversation with a friend about life and uncertainty, we walked back to the cars together. I’m not sure why, but I looked down at one point and saw a four-leaf clover right at my feet. That tiny moment stands out because it provided a sign that all is good. After all, four-leaf clovers are known for being lucky. That left me with such a good feeling about everything we discussed. That’s the thing about synchronicities. The more you notice, the more they seem to appear. Maybe the universe or your guides, angels, or even your higher self are always leaving clues. In midlife, that’s the time women become wise enough and brave enough to trust the signs and follow them. If this resonates, I invite you to be open to and notice the synchronicities that are happening all around you. They have a message for you and are there to gently guide you on life’s path. Key Takeaways Midlife often heightens intuition and spiritual awareness.Synchronicities offer meaningful guidance, rather than just being random coincidences.Life experience strengthens discernment, self-trust, and inner knowing.Heeding signs, symbols, and intuitive nudges can reduce self-doubt.Midlife magic is about perception, intuition, alignment, and awareness.Tiny synchronicities can be just as meaningful as dramatic ones. The more open you are to noticing ...

  • I Just Want To Quit, But I Don’t Want To Be A Quitter
    May 21 2026
You’re ready to throw in the towel, but you feel torn. You think, “I want to quit” but that seems terrible. What does that say about you if you just walk away? Torturous thoughts creep in like leaving is a huge sign of weakness. Or that you don’t have what it takes to stick with something. But what if that urge to walk away isn’t a weakness at all? What if it’s your inner wisdom trying to get your attention? Quitter Is the Wrong Label Labeling yourself a quitter might not be valid. Sometimes a situation simply isn’t a good fit, or the timing is off. The opportunity might not be for your highest good, and perhaps something better is waiting once you become available. But how do you know the difference? Here’s the honest answer – it depends. No blanket statement works for every situation. This is a place where trusting yourself and your inner knowing is essential. Think about if you’re the kind of person who is always chasing the newest thing, abandoning what you’re working on for the latest shiny object. That might be a sign to hang in a bit longer and give what you’re doing a fair shake. On the other hand, maybe you’re the type who holds on longer than makes sense because of security, loyalty, or a sense of duty. Perhaps you have fear about letting go. You have plenty of stick-to-itiveness, maybe too much for your own good. Sticking with something and seeing it through does build a sense of certainty that you gave it a fair shot. It can develop strength and follow-through. Yet, sometimes you need to leave because a better opportunity is waiting. It could be one you’ll miss if you stay too long in a place that isn’t right for you. Questions Worth Asking Before making the call to stay or go, take time to reflect and ask yourself: Have I really given this my all?Do I want to quit because I’m bored?Do I want to leave because I fear it won’t work out?Am I recognizing a pattern that’s worth examining?Did I just lose steam on this idea?Am I hitting my head against a wall and need to walk away?Am I being stubborn and hanging in there because I don’t know what else to do?Is this situation eroding my self-confidence and making me feel smaller? Your answers will tell you a great deal. And when you’ve tried everything, talked to experts, friends, family, and adjusted your approach, but things still aren’t moving forward, that’s important information. It can be a sign that what you’re working on is out of alignment with your highest good, no matter how much you want it to work. This could apply to a job, a business idea, a relationship, a course, or even a habit you’ve been trying to build. When your gut is telling you clearly and consistently that something isn’t working, it’s worth listening. Real-Life Examples of Conscious Quitting The Landmark Seminar Years ago, I completed the EST training, now called Landmark, a two-weekend personal development workshop. Afterward, I joined an 8–10 week seminar with my cousin to continue the work. Each week we’d gather to collaborate on a long-term group project. The problem? A lot of people stopped showing up. And instead of focusing on the work, the group leaders spent most of every 90-minute meeting scolding the people who were there about the people who weren’t. The leadership had taken their eyes off the ball, and nothing was getting accomplished. By the sixth week, my intuition was screaming at me to stop wasting my time. So, I left. The following week, members of the group called me a quitter. My cousin defended me and then quit herself since it all seemed ridiculous. Was I a quitter? No. I left because the group hadn’t kept its commitment to the participants. Leaving was the right call. Two Decades of Coaching I’ve tried a variety of coaching niches over the years, from dating coaching, marketing coaching, life coaching, and the most recent – intuitive coaching. I stuck with dating coaching the longest, over 20 years, with genuine success and many positive milestones. But with the other niches, my inner knowing consistently nudged me to move on when nothing was clicking. It would show up as a pit in my stomach, or an intuitive sense that things weren’t headed in the right direction. Most of those ideas simply didn’t fly, so I dropped them. Does that make me a quitter? Or does that make me a smart businesswoman who chose to cut her losses and try something new? I’d argue it’s the latter every time. How to Trust Your Inner Wisdom The only reliable way to navigate the stay-or-go question is to look within. Beyond the reflection questions suggested above, you can also try sitting quietly for a few minutes of stillness and ask yourself sincerely “Is it for my highest good to stay with this situation?” Then really listen and pay attention to what comes to you. Some answers arrive as a clear sense of knowing. Others show up as a feeling in your body, such as tension, relief, heaviness, or lightness. ...

  • If Life Feels Difficult Lately, Blame May’s Astrology & Super Moon
    May 14 2026
Have you been looking at your life lately wondering why things feel off or out of sorts? Blame it on May’s astrology. Thankfully, things are basically fine on the surface. Yet underneath, there’s a strange feeling that’s subtle and even a little disconnected. May’s Astrology The things you used to rely on don’t feel the same anymore. Your routines and even your goals feel a bit out of sync. It’s as if parts of your life belong to a version of you that isn’t working anymore. You’re probably feeling some restlessness that comes and goes. There may be moments where you feel emotional without a clear reason. And, times when your energy dips, your focus drifts, or you catch yourself questioning decisions you once made easily. Underneath all of it, something is trying to get your attention. What you’re feeling right now makes sense when you consider this month’s astrology. It’s creating a very specific kind of internal movement. It’s subtle in some ways and intense in others, especially for midlife women already on a path of self-awareness and growth. This month is inviting you into a deeper relationship with yourself. If you’ve been feeling off, it may be because parts of you are shifting before your outer life has had a chance to catch up. Pluto Retrograde Brings Transformation A big part of May’s astrology begins with Pluto Retrograde. Pluto governs transformation, truth, power, and the subconscious. When Pluto moves into retrograde, its energy turns inward. Instead of external change, the focus becomes looking within. You may notice old patterns resurfacing. This might look like emotional reactions, thoughts, or relationship dynamics you believed you had already worked through. There can be moments where something small triggers a much deeper emotional response than expected. These old patterns are resurfacing to get your attention one more time. It’s like peeling another layer of the onion, revealing something deeper that’s ready to be released. For women in midlife who have already done a lot of inner work, this can feel confusing. You may wonder why this is happening again. What’s actually happening is refinement. Pluto is drawing your awareness toward deeper layers beneath what you’ve already healed. It’s showing you where your power still gets diluted, where you override your truth, or where old identities are lingering just enough to keep you out of alignment. You may especially notice this in relationships. Situations where you feel drained, obligated, or subtly resentful begin standing out more clearly. You may recognize where you say yes when your body wants to say no, or where you stay silent to keep the peace. These realizations may not arrive gently, but they are important and clarifying. The Taurus Super Moon Amplifies Everything At the same time, the Super Full Moon in Taurus is magnifying emotional awareness. Taurus is connected to stability, security, self-worth, comfort, and the physical experience of being alive. When the Moon is full in Taurus, these themes become more vivid and emotionally present. You may find yourself craving simplicity and wanting to slow down. You could wish your life felt more supportive, nourishing, and aligned with what actually matters to you now. At the same time, anything that isn’t aligned in those areas can feel much harder to tolerate. Your body is giving you information. There’s increased sensitivity to what supports you versus what drains you. Certain parts of life may no longer feel sustainable. For many women in midlife, this connects to a deeper question about security. What felt secure ten or twenty years ago may not hold the same meaning anymore. Your sense of security may be shifting from external validation toward trusting your own inner knowing. Mercury in Gemini Speeds Up Your Mind The next astrological layer involves Mercury in Gemini. Mercury governs communication, thinking, and perception. Gemini is mentally active, curious, and constantly moving between ideas. When Mercury enters Gemini, the mind speeds up. It can feel like the Universe suddenly turns the volume up on thoughts, conversations, signs, and inner messages. There may be moments of clarity followed by frustrating overthinking. You might feel pulled in multiple directions mentally, trying to understand what you’re feeling while also questioning it at the same time. This is where intuition often gets drowned out. Intuition tends to arrive as a whisper, first impression, or subtle knowing. Then the mind steps in to analyze, reinterpret, question, and dismiss it. By the time you’ve thought everything through, the original clarity can feel diluted. That’s why this month asks you to notice an important pattern. Are you honoring your intuition, or questioning it instead of trusting it? Mercury in Gemini brings brilliance, but it also creates mental clutter. Part of your work this month is learning how to hear yourself clearly beneath all...

  • Secrets Of Glamour Magic Revealed
    May 7 2026
What is glamour magic? It’s the practice of consciously working with your own presence, so your most aligned, authentic self comes forward more clearly and consistently. Rooted in Celtic folklore, the Fae were said to cast glamours to alter perception. However, the modern glamour practice I’m going to talk about is not about illusion. This is about being intentional to create alignment between who you are and how you show up in the world. What Is Glamour Magic? The word glamour carries a shimmer to it, something just beneath the surface of ordinary life. Most people think of glamour as external like fashion, beauty, high-end jewelry, or personal presentation. But there’s something deeper here, something far more useful in your real life. Traced back through Celtic folklore, glamour was considered a kind of enchantment. The Fae could cast a glamour to alter perception itself, making something appear more beautiful, powerful, or entirely different than it truly was. It was a kind of energetic artistry that could bend reality with a bit of illusion. Modern glamour practice reclaims that concept, but instead of using it as a pretense, it’s being used here to promote alignment. Think about choosing how you want to show up to match who you are becoming, so your presence is felt more clearly, more consistently, and with far less effort. How to Practice Glamour Magic Glamour practice is built through small, intentional acts that shift both your inner and outer world over time. Here are seven practical methods that you can try. Know that you do not have to do them all. Just choose what appeals most. 1. Use Your Voice Intentionally Why it matters: Your voice and language set the tone for your entire day before anything else happens. Most people use language unconsciously — hedging, softening, second-guessing. But language carries energy. When you choose your words with intention, you shift your internal state, which changes how you feel and how others experience you. How to do it: Replace “I hope” with “I’m choosing”Replace “I’ll try” with “I will”Pause before automatic apologies and decide if they’re actually neededSpeak a 20-second identity statement in the mirror each morning. “I move through today with calm confidence. My presence is steady. My words are clear, and people feel that.” When you say this out loud, you’re not wishing. You’re practicing. Your voice becomes a bridge between who you are and who you’re becoming. 2. Consciously Choose Your Scent Why it matters: Scent connects directly to memory, emotion, and mood. It can shift how you feel almost instantly. Instead of choosing a fragrance randomly, assign meaning to what you wear. You might have one scent for confidence, one for calm, one for openness. How to do it: In the morning, decide what energy you want to embodyAs you apply your scent, breathe it in and set a simple intention: “I carry grounded confidence today” or “I’m stepping into ease and grace”With time, your body associates the scent with that state of being. Wearing it becomes a shortcut to that energy 3. Hold Your Gaze in the Mirror Why it matters: Most people rush past the mirror or avoid their own gaze. Staying there — even briefly — is an act of self-connection that builds inner authority. How to do it: Stand at the mirror and hold eye contact with yourself for 30 to 60 secondsRelax your face, drop your shoulders, and simply be presentSay something simple out loud: “I trust myself” or “I am becoming more grounded and at ease”This is where glamour turns inward. You’re not projecting — you’re reinforcing identity. You’ll begin to see yourself differently, and that changes how you move through the world. 4. Create an Anchor Object Why it matters: A physical object worn daily can become a powerful cue for the energy you want to embody. How to do it: Choose something you already wear — a ring, bracelet, or watchHold it and intentionally connect it with a quality: steadiness, confidence, claritySay that quality out loud, then wear it as normalThroughout the day, when you touch it, pause and reconnect with that feeling This association strengthens as time passes. It provides a steady support, like a personal talisman but not for luck. It’s for alignment. 5. Use Music to Up Your Vibe Why it matters: Music has a direct and immediate effect on emotional state. One song can shift your mood in seconds. How to do it: As you get ready each morning, play something that matches or elevates how you want to feelLet your body respond, and know that even just a little movement countsThis goes beyond listening to embodying a frequency and choosing your state of being rather than waiting for it to arrive 6. Choose Your Daily Story Why it matters: Most people move through life reacting. But underneath every day, there’s a narrative running — and often, it isn’t a kind one. How to do it: Each morning, ask: what kind of day do...
