Ephesians 6:10–13 (NIV)
Strength for the battle comes from the Lord as we put on His armor and stand.

INTRODUCTION: As followers of Christ, we are not fighting for victory we are FIGHTING FROM VICTORY! Jesus said, "It is FINISHED".

Access God's Power

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

Acknowledge the Battle

Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.” “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

Advance with Assurance

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”

We are not just survivors or defenders but MORE THAN CONQUERORS! (Romans 8:37)

Jesus never told the church to be clever enough, strong enough, or persuasive enough. He told us to wait for power, because the mission ahead would require more than human ability.

Movements start with movement:

• Pentecost turns weakness into boldness.

• Peter preaches with clarity and conviction.

“And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’”

• God uses Peter to build the church.

“Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.”

God does not only heal us for private comfort; He builds us for public usefulness and kingdom impact.
