Anthea is a Qualified Therapeutic Counsellor and Motivational Speaker. She volunteers for a new charity called Mental Health Motorbike and is the author of her memoirs, called "Shh… a personal account of how childhood sexual abuse almost stole her sanity and how she overcame the past."
Due to her past childhood sexual abuse, in her early 30’s had a breakdown, resulting in her suffering from anorexia. It was the only way that she could find some control to distract her from the darkest parts of herself and the shame at the core of the breakdown.
