• Genesis 12: Two Sides of One Coin
    Jun 7 2026

Abraham is considered one of the forefathers of our faith, and yet in one chapter, he goes from faithful obedience to fearful foolishness. What happened? In this sermon, Pastor Tim explains how all of us are like a coin: one side is faithful and the other is fearful. Nevertheless, God remains the God who will fulfill His promises, regardless of how we react.

  • Deuteronomy: Choosing God as His Chosen People
    May 24 2026

Continuing the sermon series, "From Creation to Canaan," Pastor Steve covers the final book in the Pentateuch: Deuteronomy. In it, Moses gives his "farewell discourse" to the people, warning them to obey the Lord through several speeches and a repetition of key points of the Law. "Don't do this the hard way, like I did," Moses argues, "Obey the Lord."

What is obedience, and why is it important? Pastor Steve unpacks the choice Moses gave to the Israelites, ending in the question, where is God calling you to obey today?

  • Numbers: The People's Grumbling and God's Goodness
    May 17 2026

Next in the sermon series, "From Creation to Canaan," Pastor Steve gives an overview of the book of Numbers. It chronicles the fulfillment of God's promises to Abraham back in Genesis: the giving of the land, people as numerous as the stars, and His presence dwelling among them.

At this point the Israelites have experienced God like no other people has before: He rescued them from Egypt with the ten plagues and parted the Red Sea for them. Now He dwells among them in the tent of meeting, and yet, how do they respond? They grumble! This reveals their discontentment with God, their inability to believe that He is good and that He can be trusted. Their dissatisfaction ultimately leads to their disobedience.

Nevertheless, God's goodness is not a response to either human obedience or faith. It is independent of both. Rather, it flows out of the limitless goodness of His character.

  • Leviticus: How Does a Holy God Dwell among a Sinful People?
    May 10 2026

Continuing the sermon series, "From Creation to Canaan," Colin leads us through the book of Leviticus. Commonly thought to be one of the most challenging books to read through, Leviticus is actually the center of the Pentateuch (the first five books of the Old Testament). Even more significantly, it centers on the Day of Atonement, the means our Holy God provided to dwell among a sinful people, the fulfillment of which we see in Jesus, our perfect Lamb.
