Keep Showing Up This Summer: Rest, Recovery & Joy

Summer is finally here, and after returning home to Los Angeles from a work trip, there's nothing that fills my cup more than walking my dog, Zoe, soaking up the sunshine, and feeling that creative energy come alive again. In this episode, I'm sharing why this season reminds me to keep showing up for myself but showing up doesn't always mean doing more. Sometimes it means resting, recovering, and honoring what your mind and body truly need. As a former college athlete and a Human Design Projector, I've learned that protecting my energy is what allows me to perform at my highest level, which is why I now limit my commercial acting and modeling auditions to just one focused hour a day instead of burning myself out. I also speak to the women, especially the mothers, who carry guilt for taking time for themselves, reminding you that asking for help, spending time in nature, and creating quiet moments isn't selfish; it's essential. We also talk about grief, resilience, why endings often become beautiful new beginnings, and how joy and play are some of the most healing things we can give ourselves. If this episode speaks to you, I'd love to hear from you send me a DM on Instagram. And as always, thank you for supporting the show and our sponsor, Tress Hats.

  • Stay Bright in the Midst of Chaos: How to Stay Regulated When Everyone Else Is Dysregulated
    Jun 19 2026

In this episode of Girl, We Got This, I share a powerful lesson from a recent three-day print campaign in New York City that reminded me how important it is to protect your peace when chaos is unfolding around you. What started as a last-minute production change quickly turned into a stressful situation on set when wardrobe selections were rejected, tensions rose, and one person's overwhelm began affecting the entire room. Instead of absorbing the energy, I chose to stay grounded through simple rituals, nervous system regulation practices, gratitude, and conscious observation.

We dive into what it means to stay emotionally regulated when others are dysregulated, how to stop taking on other people's stress, and why protecting your energy is one of the greatest forms of self-responsibility. This conversation explores emotional intelligence, nervous system health, personal boundaries, workplace dynamics, mindfulness, self-awareness, and leadership through presence. If you've ever struggled with absorbing other people's moods, managing difficult personalities, or staying calm under pressure, this episode will remind you that someone else's overwhelm does not have to become your reality.

    In This Episode:

    • Nervous system regulation tools that work in real life
    • How to protect your energy in stressful environments
    • Emotional regulation and emotional intelligence
    • Workplace stress, conflict, and difficult personalities
    • The difference between observing and absorbing
    • Why your mood impacts everyone around you
    • Accountability, self-awareness, and personal responsibility
    • Creating peace in chaotic situations

  • Creating Your Sanctuary: The Power of Environment and Self-Care
    Jun 5 2026

Welcome back to my Walk & Talk Series. Today, I’m sharing one of the biggest lessons life has taught me this year: when you change your environment, you change your life. As women, we often outgrow people, places, and versions of ourselves, and our growth requires us to be honest about what no longer feels aligned. I open up about leaving an East Side Los Angeles loft that no longer felt safe and moving into a nature-filled home near the ocean that I manifested through prayer, journaling, and faith. That shift didn’t just change where I lived, it improved my health, creativity, business, relationships, and overall joy. We talk about the power of creating a home that supports your well-being through feng shui, energy clearing, and intentional living, while remembering that our body is our first home and deserves nourishment, movement, rest, and gratitude.

I also share a heartfelt conversation about protecting your energy and being intentional about who has access to you. Sometimes growth requires editing your circle, releasing one-sided relationships, and creating stronger boundaries with those who take more than they give. I share the spiritual practices that help me stay grounded, including: breathwork, meditation, visualization, prayer, journaling, sage, and palo Santo and why having a small circle of trusted people can be one of the greatest gifts you give yourself. If you're navigating a season of change, healing, or reinvention, I hope this episode feels like a walk with a trusted friend who reminds you that you are allowed to choose peace, protect your energy, and create a life that feels good from the inside out.
