    Jun 9 2026
Hey everyone, Welcome to another installment of Harry Potter Theory. So far in this PLOT HOLE series we’ve covered Philosopher’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, and Goblet of Fire. And now, FINALLY, we arrive at my FAVOURITE book (and film) Order of the Phoenix. And as you might have guessed, this one isn’t free from plot holes either. Topics Covered In This Video: Order of the Phoenix plot holes explained How the Trace actually works in Harry Potter Why underage magic rules are wildly inconsistent The Ministry’s failure to investigate magical evidence Why Voldemort didn’t retrieve the prophecy himself The Hall of Prophecy & Department of Mysteries explained Why Sirius Black never used Polyjuice Potion Priori Incantatem & magical forensic investigation Wizarding World lore inconsistencies & theories Harry Potter lore analysis & explanations Questions Answered: How does the Trace detect underage magic? Why did Harry get blamed for Dobby’s Hover Charm? Why didn’t the Trace react when the Order used magic at Privet Drive? Can underage wizards secretly use magic in wizarding households? Why didn’t Voldemort simply retrieve the prophecy himself? Why was the Department of Mysteries so poorly protected? Why didn’t Sirius Black use Polyjuice Potion to hide? • The REAL Reason Dumbledore Let Sirius ROT In Azkaban - Harry Potter Theory
    Jun 5 2026
Hey everyone, welcome to another installment of Harry Potter Theory. At the end of the First Wizarding War, there were a lot of GUILTY people being charged with some pretty heinous crimes. Voldemort was gone, pretty much everyone affiliated with him was caught, and the Ministry and greater wizarding community were left with the incredibly difficult task of prosecuting those who had sided with Voldemort. And I say DIFFICULT because it was actually a fairly complicated process figuring out who was genuinely bad, and who was just operating under the Imperius Curse. Lucius Malfoy, for example, was one of MANY former Death Eaters who managed to avoid punishment by claiming that he had only served Voldemort while under the influence of the Imperius Curse. And whether the Ministry truly believed these people or not, the reality is that after a brutal wizarding war, they were desperate for stability. They wanted quick convictions, and frankly..someone to blame. And among those who had sided with Voldemort, two cases in particular stood out to me. Topics Covered In This Video: Why Dumbledore never helped Sirius Black Why Sirius Black was sent to Azkaban without a trial Why Dumbledore trusted Snape but not Sirius Snape vs Sirius Black explained The truth about Sirius Black’s imprisonment Why Snape was cleared after the First Wizarding War Dumbledore’s role in Sirius Black’s downfall The Fidelius Charm & Secret Keeper switch explained Peter Pettigrew’s betrayal explained Why Dumbledore believed Sirius was guilty Legilimency explained in Harry Potter Why Dumbledore never used Legilimency on Sirius Veritaserum, memories & magical truth detection Dumbledore’s “For the Greater Good” philosophy Why Harry Potter had to live with the Dursleys Lily Potter’s sacrificial protection explained The blood protection at Privet Drive explained Harry Potter prophecy explained How Sirius Black’s freedom could have changed Harry’s life Harry Potter plot holes & theories Wizarding World lore analysis & explanations Questions Answered: Why didn’t Dumbledore save Sirius Black? Why was Sirius Black never given a trial? Why did Dumbledore trust Snape? Did Dumbledore believe Sirius was guilty? Why was Snape forgiven after serving Voldemort? Could Dumbledore have proven Sirius was innocent? Why didn’t Dumbledore use Legilimency on Sirius? Why did Harry have to live with the Dursleys? What was Lily Potter’s blood protection? How did the Fidelius Charm work? Why did Peter Pettigrew betray the Potters? Did Dumbledore sacrifice Sirius for the greater good? Would Harry have lived with Sirius instead of the Dursleys? Did Dumbledore manipulate Harry’s life? Could Sirius Black have raised Harry Potter? Was Dumbledore morally justified? What are the biggest Sirius Black theories? Are there plot holes in Sirius Black’s imprisonment? How powerful was Dumbledore’s influence over the Ministry? Did Dumbledore secretly allow Sirius to rot in Azkaban? • The Harry Potter Plot Hole That Changes EVERYTHING
    Jun 2 2026
In the wizarding world, few magical concepts spark as many “what if” debates as the ability to alter the past. If it could be used to save both Buckbeak and Sirius, why didn’t anyone just go a little further? Why not stop Cedric Diggory’s death? Or warn Lily and James before Voldemort arrived? Why not save Dumbledore, or even stop Voldemort’s rise altogether by sabotaging Tom Riddle’s past? Topics Covered In This Video: Time-Turners explained in Harry Potter Harry Potter time travel explained The biggest Time-Turner plot holes in Harry Potter Why Time-Turners weren’t used to stop Voldemort Why nobody saved Lily and James Potter Why Cedric Diggory wasn’t saved Why Dumbledore’s death wasn’t prevented Typical Time-Turners vs True Time-Turners The Department of Mysteries & Time-Turner restrictions The story of Eloise Mintumble explained The butterfly effect in Harry Potter Bootstrap paradoxes & closed causal loops The Prisoner of Azkaban time travel paradox J.K. Rowling’s comments on Time-Turners Harry Potter plot holes explained Wizarding World lore inconsistencies & theories Harry Potter lore analysis & explanations Questions Answered: Why didn’t Harry Potter use a Time-Turner to stop Voldemort? Why couldn’t someone save Lily and James Potter? Why wasn’t Cedric Diggory saved with a Time-Turner? Why didn’t anyone prevent Dumbledore’s death? What are the limitations of Time-Turners? Can Time-Turners change the past in Harry Potter? How do True Time-Turners work? Who was Eloise Mintumble? How does time travel work in Prisoner of Azkaban? What is the Harry Potter bootstrap paradox? Is Harry Potter’s timeline fixed or changeable? Did J.K. Rowling regret introducing Time-Turners? Are Time-Turners a plot hole in Harry Potter?
